The Abbey of St Edmunds was built over 1000 years ago and the ruins are located within the fabulous and beautiful Abbey Gardens, which are next to St Edmundsbury Cathedral. Also nearby is the Greene King Brewery and both of these locations host tours including providing a wonderful birds-eye view across the town centre.
The town has a wonderful array of food and drink establishments as well as the Nutshell Pub, which claims to be the smallest pub in the Country!
